The Conservative Foreign & Commonwealth Council hosted a summer Terrace Reception hosted by flagship bearer for the Commonwealth and Patron of CFCC, Rt Hon Lord Howell of Guildford.
The Guest Speaker was Rt Hon Tobias Ellwood MP, Chairman of the Defence Select Committee, who gave a rousing speech. He inspired all guests present by linking up nations across the world in a common purpose and warm unifying embrace. He also expressed his gratitude, with a chess metaphor, for civil servants and their high level of excellence and hard work behind the scenes.
