The CFCC was privileged to have four excellent parliamentarians address members and diplomats yesterday: Lord Sheikh led with a speech on UK global trade; Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne spoke about her work as Trade Envoy and the Baku pipeline as well as fascinating insights into "the Brexit Bill 15 amendments"; Rt Hon Greg Hands MP as local Chelsea MP as well as Minister for Trade spoke eloquently about our mission to forge global trade links and expansion; and Chairman of CFCC Rehman Chishti MP spoke about his expansive work across the UK as Vice Chairman of the Party for Communities.
Sir Ronald Halstead CBE, President of CFCC, asked for more government support for the engineering industries and international trade Shows - in his position as President of the Engineering Industries Association.
