The Ambassador of Paraguay, HE Miguel Angel Solano-Lopez Casco, addressed the Conservative Foreign and Commonwealth Council last night in central London.
The Ambassador is descended from a distinguished line of politicians in Paraguay including Francisco Solano Lopez who was President of Paraguay from 1872 - 1870, who himself was the son of Carlos Antonio Lopez who led a colourful life and left the country as a prosperous nation.
