- Update from The Rt Hon the Baroness Chalker of Wallasey on her work in Africa followed by a briefing on Ghana trade and bilateral foreign affairs.
- Madam Rita Tani Iddi, Deputy High Commissioner for Ghana. Madam Rita Tani Iddi is a teacher by profession who taught in several schools in Ghana, including Yendi Secondary School and Berekum Training College. She was also a District Chief Executive of Gushegu in the Northern Region of Ghana. She became the Member of Parliament for Gushegu and served as a Deputy Minister for Lands, Forestry and Mines in the Kufuor administration. She was in charge of the mines sector and is now the Deputy High Commissioner for Ghana
- Talk by Afrikids charity based in Ghana. AfriKids is an award-winning child rights NGO transforming lives in northern Ghana. Its local team have worked with communities to design a holistic model of development centred around inclusive education, a model which is igniting the potential of the poorest children and giving them the power to take control of their futures.
