2. Madam Rita Tani Iddi
Deputy High Commissioner for Ghana
Madam Rita Tani Iddi is a teacher by profession who taught in several schools in Ghana, including Yendi Secondary School and Berekum Training College. She was also a District Chief Executive of Gushegu in the Northern Region of Ghana. She became the Member of Parliament for Gushegu and served as a Deputy Minister for Lands, Forestry and Mines in the Kufuor administration. She was in charge of the mines sector and is now the Deputy High Commissioner for Ghana.

AfriKids is an award-winning child rights NGO transforming lives in northern Ghana. Its local team have worked with communities to design a holistic model of development centred around inclusive education, a model which is igniting the potential of the poorest children and giving them the power to take control of their futures.
